Replacing a Workstation
With the existing workstation still on the network confirm firmware (drivers) before disconnecting
Connecting workstation to network
Install workstation on the same network cable being replaced
Install new keyboard and mouse
Reconnect monitors onto new workstation
Log in with contractors Admin account
Confirm workstation has proper static IP address
Verify computer has network connection (ping the app server IP address)

Installing Monitors
Verify computer has proper video card software driver to match video card
If video card driver needs to be installed contact BPR service desk

Install Victor 6.0
Edit Victor Application Server by setting Domain Name to proper corporate app server (use C name example: CCTVMGMT1.generalgrowth.com)
Set display name to “Corp App Server #”
Remove “localhost” from server drop down list
Matrix
Update the new workstation name for the matrix monitors
Connecting AD2089 Controller
Connect AD2089 controller (joystick) via serial to USB cable
Verify computer has proper serial to USB driver
Load proper software drive if necessary
Within Victor create new Keyboard (delete old keyboard)
User Roles
Keyboard update the roll permission and remove permission for old keyboard
Monitors update the roll permission and remove permission for old monitors
Workstation update the roll permission and remove permission for old workstation
Testing
Have security dispatch log onto workstation
Security Dispatch log into Victor
Test Salvos
Test keyboard
Test Matrix
